Ramsau am Dachstein is already used as a year-round training centre for cross country skiers, ski jumpers, biathletes and Nordic combined athlethes. Ramsau has a Nordic Training Centre to satisfy the highest demands. This facility for performance diagnosis and training supervision can be made use of by all amateur sportsmen and guests of the Dachstein Tauern region.
A 150 km network of trails
(at altitudes of 1,100 - 2,700 m and of varying levels of difficuty - easy to demanding), 70 km for skating freestyle and 70 km network of footpaths are the best requisites for fulfilling these desires.
